Her lowest note is actually on the Stronger album and is a C3. As for her highest note, it's at least a G6. There's a video on YouTube where there's a sound that's C7, but it's too hard to recognize and it's hard to verify it as being Kelly's. I really want her to hit her highest note on live TV just so we know what it is, but that's not her style.

I'm pretty sure Kelly's capable of much more than what she shows on her albums. She has to stop holding back!
I would prefer a second coming of My December more than Breakaway tbh. Besides the singles, the album isn't all that great. Full of ****ing fillers. I want a My December part two but a bit more radio friendly. You can still tell a story with great lyrics, raw vocals and give it a bit of a radio friendly sound. Something in the lines of Chandelier, Dark Side and I follow rivers.
Things I want for the next album:
- I want her to be involve in every writing process, so I want her to write , or co-write every song on the record
- Produced by one producer or two, not more. In this case it would be Greg Kurstin
- Not only should the songs tell a story, the videos as well. I want a collective story and theme. One director (Joseph Kahn) would be nice as well
- Raw, quality songs that also showcase her vocals. Not every track has to be single material, but there should be at least three smashes on the album.

I honestly think what you're wanting from an album is exactly why Clive Davis hated it. There were no radio-friendly singles on it. But, that's what made it special. And honestly, My December is a great album, and I want more songs like Maybe, Sober, etc. But another album like that, no. Especially with her being in the happiest stage of her life, it's not going to happen. I would prefer something more folksy and akin to Breathe (2 am), Why, and Iris.
I think we're thinking of the same idea, storytelling-wise. But when you say, "second coming of My December," I think of a depressing album filled with rock backings. She's done that. I want something new, but with heavy storytelling in it.
I want a happy cousin of MD - raw and personal, emotional but the complete opposite when it comes to themes - no heartbreak, desperation, feeling alone, rather happiness, finding the true love.

Yeah we are. When I say a "second coming of my december" I mean it more theme wise. I want something personal, cohesive, a storytelling but less depressing. This is why I'm actually glad Kelly worked with some country artists. Country artists are amazing at telling a story, that's what makes the genre so unique (for me). Kelly should try to bring the storytelling into pop. Although I want the album to be happy-ish I still want some rawness in it. I wouldn't mind one or two bitter songs tho. I don't want a fairy tail story, I want a realistic story from Kelly. So there should be a couple of "depressing" songs in it.
I'm beyond in love with My December. Idont quite like Kelly, but MD is one of my favorite albums ever. I'm excited for her upcoming release; I feel like it will be her first good album since MD I want less pop, more country/folk/rock/acoustic/stripped down kinda kelly
