Why did they submit Birthday Cash Remix? The new "Summertime sadness Grammy scandal" is coming nnn. Also, why Katy's label didn't submit "Legends Never Die"? It's a great song tbh and under Katy's featuring, it could do quite well. They should have given it a try tbh.
I don't know what they actually submitted today--but I asked/made recommendations about a month ago. I'm 99% certain "Legends Never Die" was not included.
Prism, Unconditionally, Dark Horse, Birthday, Birthday Cash Cash Remix, and Walking On Air will all be submitted. I wonder how many noms she'll grab. Sam will be submitted in three of the same categories, including the obvious Dark Horse one with the remix of his new single...grr.
Wait, just read this part
Mess at Capitol potentially sabotaging Katy

The New Classic was submitted for Album of the Year, but I looked it up and I don't think writers get that Grammy- Only performers and producers do.
Imagine the meltdowns of BW winning something not-songwriting related
I guess it's better to hedge all bets on "Dark Horse," anyway.
They should have nominated either "Birthday" or "Unconditionally" somewhere, though, because I feel like it's either going to be another Pharrell year, or everything she's nominated for will go to Beyonce.
