I was the first one to say that this performance was an horrid mess, it's their only bad performance though.
But the thing is, even if they were terrible on that performance, they still sang ALL of it.

That backingtrack shade is completely irrelevant though, as you can CLEARLY hear their voices, and Chanyeol doesn't assist him, they take turns, sometimes Kai does the screamo, sometimes Chanyeol does (he was the one doing it on this performance).

The others were basically just talking while dancing, or not talking at all and letting the backing track do all the work They sing like 60% of the song (is it really so hard for Zelo to sing the "get down" part ?) while EXO sings 100%, even the chorus where the choreo is ****ing intense.

& btw on the track, both Chanyeol & Kai do the screamo part, but they only show Kai in the video (since he's the overrated Yoona of the group)

But how important is it to have an overrated dancer in your group when he can't do anything else? B.A.P still manages to be more solid and well-rounded even without a 3rd rate, non-singing MJ impersonator in their lineup.
I know you aren't saying Daehyun strains when your boys still haven't managed hit all their notes right even once yet. Not out of what, 8 performances now? But wait, half of them were lip-synced. And I guess a well-executed performance would sound "out of tune" to an EXO stan. Since you're used to hearing vocal messes, an actual good vocal performance must sound unusual to you.

Ok, so Kai's monotone singing part in the second verse of MAMA isn't singing, it's rapping, but Zelo's "get down" is singing? I guess listening to too much of Exo-K's off-key screeching has made you tone deaf now. It's a spoken line that's only there in the first place to lead into Zelo's rap verse (rapping - something that EXO's rappers can't do). There's no need to do it live.
Daehyun and that ugly one only sing half a line each Suho, D.O, and Baekhyun have a full song to sing, and it's not some basic bridge, MAMA is very hard to sing live, and all that while dancing. Y'all are doing to much, really.

Ever heard of Hyoyeon ? I don't remember people bashing her for being amazing at dancing.
Well same thing goes for Kai, he's an amazing dancer, but he can sing/rap and apparently do screamo too, would your apes ever TRY ?
He might not be the best rapper or singer, but he's decent and far from being horrible at those tasks.

Are you serious ? Haven't you watched the performance Halien posted nor the one I posted ? D.O hits his first high note perfectly, and it was the only one he had troubles with, the other ones were perfectly on tune, with great reasonance, breath support and musicality. I don't wanna sound arrogant but I'm pretty confident concerning my musical abilities as I've been studying vocal anatomy and technique for years now, and that I actually have perfect pitch (according to my music theory teacher, not making up things), so you could always TRY.
Also, I'm a big voice lover (Mariah, Whitney) so I don't really think I'm used to vocal messes, I'm actually extremly picky when it comes to vocals (and when I heard EXO's debut performance all I could say was that it was horrible, a complete mess, and that it's probably the worst vocal performance I've ever heard coming from a boy group).

I agree, it's speaking, which is even less demanding.
And seriously ? EXO's rappers can't rap ? You should probably listen to Chanyeol's verse in Two Moons.

Where's the "impressive" at ? all I see them doing is jumping up & down like the apes they really are, Messy ass choreo, and horrid outfits. The ONLY reason they aren't being criticized like EXO is that no one was expecting anything from them at all, unlike EXO who have been hyped for years, it was basically impossible for them to live up to the hype.
Maybe SM should've considered that before they decided to make 30 teasers for such a basic group.
That Warrior performance wasn't even one of their best, they looked tired and the sound system was ****, but yet it was still several times more enjoyable than EXNO's messy stages. Still ******** on the lessors even on an off day, such Kings.

At the end of the day, their music remains disposable, garbage, forgettable..etc. while EXO's debut mini (which I'm sure you BOP to daily) is already one of the best releases of the year, and that's all that matters.
