Oh well. It must be subjective then, because I still think it's her 2nd best video. The easiest way to judge for me is the fact that I can watch it from beginning to the end without even being bored and skip some parts - something not true with BTW and Alejandro.
Same feeling with Bad Romance, nothing is worth skipping. But that's my opinion.

I can't imagine how people want to skip parts in Born This Way. Maybe I'm too much of a SF/Fantasy nerd.
Totally. Fun, diverse songs and good videos across the board. If she could actually sing/perform, she would own the pop world.
Her next album will be HUGE if they continue playing their cards like they're currently doing. I wonder how long she'll last. She's not an artist and she's 100% at her producers' mercy - they're notorious for moving on to new it girls. However her team is so aggressive and she's proven herself to be very savvy. It will be interesting to see how it's played out.
Katy's music and videos are just fine. They're safe as hell but she's a pop star and her job is to appeal to the masses. The TD era is very enjoyable, there's no need to be snobs about it . She knows she's not a real artist, she knows she has no real vision, so she sticks to what she knows will work and please girls and gays who like pop. In that sense she's very very smart and she deserves all her success.

La vérité avait finalement vaincu la méfiante frayeur.
Sa naïveté lui faisait convoiter les joies d’un autre monde.
De l’autre côté, contre son gré, elle galopait vers sa tombe.
Une chaleur l’envahissait à la vue de cet océan de la passion.
Elle s’embrasait d’une froideur brûlante, au rythme des saisons.
Les nombreux insectes extrayaient son nectar, son âme,
Dévorant toutes ses pétales lentement d’une voracité infâme.
La laissant là, gésir seule, entre les griffes des charognards.
La pluie s’égouttait sur son doux visage – il était trop tard.

Son essence ; son esprit subsistaient, amplement chancelants.

Personally I'm here for artists that take risks, Like Gaga & Beys new albums.
They're hardly mainstream, yet timeless and will most likely be remembered in the long run
