so it would seem like she trying to get out of their agreement less than a year after initially signing w/luke
if thats true the q becomes what happened between march and dec? why did kesha want out after less than a year? if pebe & kesha are to be believed the answer is a sexual assault that happened in oct 05
then ok what happens between wanting out in dec 05 and working w/luke in 09
well, a lot of nothing. by all accounts, luke & kesha stop interacting between Dec 05 & the end of 08.

in 2006, kesha signs w/DAS management w/the intention of getting a major-label record deal
the DAS deal was only for a year, but according to DAS she waives the deadlines and keeps working w/them
she's still not out of her contract w/luke but there seem to have been some efforts to get her out but they don't really go anywhere

so DAS continues shopping Kesha around and at some point allegedly sets up a deal with Kara DioGuardi at Warner
some time btwn January 27, 2007 when the originally DAS agreement lapsed and September 11, 2008 when Kesha's lawyer tried to formalize that

so acc to DAS: kesha still under contract w/luke @ this time but trying to get out / believes she can get out & sign w/someone new
this is when dr luke allegedly re-enters the picture -- he asserts kesha is still under contract & puts an end to any warner deal
