the whole video consisted of scenes that should've been intercut throughout the video with some other action or "storyline" going on. that would have had a stronger effect: like - now HERE is this fierce dance segment with THIS cool outfit and THAT new look. instead it was all stitched together and repeated throughout the song. i feel like a new "set up" should accent and augment a new part within the song itself. like the "o-oo-oo-oohs" ideally should've had a new visual to go along with it. oh well. i guess not at all videos can be as in-depth and varied as, say, a Joseph Kahn-directed video. Not really a good excuse IMO. Andre (shot by the same director, mind you) was funded out of her own pocket yet managed to have a cute little storyline behind it that made it a nice video I was hoping it would be her best, but this is honestly one of her worst aside from Disaster which just completely scrapped the intended storyline yet left random, confusing bits of it in.
