It does deliver, but it always stays safe. I can't think of a Swedish entry since 1999 that was risky or well written or of a certain artistic quality.
- Charlotte Nilsson - safe ABBA love song with easy lyrics such as "take me to your heaven, hold on to a dream"
- Roger Pontare - trash
- Friends - generic europop song "listen to your heartbeat it'll take you higher"
- Afro-dite - generic gay anthem "never let it go til you know we'll be reaching for the top tonight"
- Fame - generic Europop with lyrics written using the English words everyone knows "give me your love"
- Lena Philipsson - generic europop with cringeworthy lyrics
- Martin Stenmarck - trash
- Carola Häggkvist - super basic eurodance just like her entire cheap discography
- The Ark - glam rock, I'll pass it as risky
- Charlotte Nilsson - safe eurodance song that flopped bc the good sis was looking like a grey alien twice as old as her age
- Malena Ernman - original idea of combining opera with europop, but trash
- Anna Bergendahl - generic pop midtempo
- Eric Saade - basic dance pop song with trash lyrics
- Euphoria - flawless dance pop song, safe but phenomenal
- Robin Stjernberg - safe dramatic pop ballad
- Sanna Nielsen - safe pop ballad, astonishing vocals, horrible lyrics
- Måns Zelmerlöw - generic David Guetta reject
So yeah, I hope that in 2016 you'll send something with some personality instead of hopping on the trend of the moment
