Swear that you’ll keep it?
‘Cause it’s kind of a scandal involving me and maybe you
Pre-Chorus
But every time that I try and explain to you why
I get choked up inside and I feel butterflies
I don’t know what to do when I’m looking at you
And this question just won’t leave my mind
Chorus
I gotta know, is this real?
‘Cause I’m losing my head, hanging on by a thread
Don’t you know, how I feel?
When you look at me like that, it’s taking me right back
To that cold winter night, you were holding me tight
And you whispered my name in the candlelight
Yeah I gotta know, how you feel
If you want me I’m ready to go, so I gotta know
Verse 2
Where is this going?
You’ve been texting me all night, we might as well talk face to face
Both of us knowing
It’s the perfect excuse to get me all alone at your place
If you want me I’m ready to go, so I gotta know
Bridge
Don’t lead me down this road again
We’re past the point of no return; we can’t just be friends
Look in my eyes and speak the truth
I feel the sparks, the chemistry; do you feel it too?
If you want me I’m ready to go, so I gotta know
It's nothing special, just a cute little Carly Rae Jepsen / I Really Like You inspired basic bop. Just wanted to write a song before the competition started.

nn yeah I caught myself counting the cliches there
idk I just like my writing to be full of metaphors and imagery but that's just me. As Euphoressay has learned that kind of writing has its downfalls too

Red lights flashing
Through my bedroom window pane
Ambulance outside
Howling as it speeds away
I don't know where it's going but I wish it would take me
Chorus (x2)
Did you ever have a night like this
Did you ever get the feeling something needed to change
Did you ever have a night like this
I'll keep bending just because I know eventually I'll break
Verse 2:
Red light flashing
On my old answering machine
Don't want to hear
The message that's waiting for me
I don't know what you'll say but I know it will hurt me
Chorus x2
Bridge:
It's so dark and the sky's so clear
I could read the star signs if I only knew how.
It's too late and the end is near
The flashing lights have faded and I'm all alone now.
Chorus x3

Yeah, I couldn't help but hear it in your lyrics! Pretty strange, eh? And I can see the JN'D influence too.

Our feud was literally a non-factor let's be honest, especially considering that I was 50% trolling the entire time.

I was 100% trolling the whole time and I admitted it before the feud even ended

Wait, I was just looking through my debut album "Young Heart" and found this gem verse It could use a small touch up in certain parts but it is FIRE The Me Against The Music of our generation
Verse 2
I can’t see you, I can’t see me
Only just the music that sings to me
Surrounded by a constellation of immortal beauty
A metamorphosis is coming, to bring me full circle
I realize the beauty of your hands as they’re guiding me
To the beat of the music
I bolded the parts I want to revise
Since you really can't ever see yourself And you can't really see sounds either

A song I wrote when I was 12
Once upon a time there was a couple that lived in New York
They had three kids, a dog and a big ****ing house
But one day, they decided to split ways
The wife took the kids, the house and the husband moved all the way
To Oregon
One day, the husband wanted her back
But the wife didn’t think like that
And whenever he’d call and tell her how he felt
This is what, this is what, this is what, this is what she’d say:
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever the case, I’ll want you to go away
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever you’ll say, I’ll still want you to go away
So go away, go away
Whenever he came home he’d be all alone with just him and his cats
There was Felix, Daphne, Randy, Kitty, Sparkles, Eddie, Becky, Becky the 2nd, Becky the 3rd, Becky the 4th, and more after that
The husband wanted to see his kids again
But this is what, this is what, this is what, this is what she’d say:
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever the case, I’ll want you to go away
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever you’ll say, I’ll still want you to go away
So go away, go away
Oregon, yeah Oregon, you have to understand
I used to then, but now I don’t want to hold your hand
And walk through the park
And dance in the dance
So stop calling me
Please
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever the case, I’ll want you to go away
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever you’ll say, I’ll still want you to go away
So go away, go away
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever the case, I’ll want you to go away
Oregon, I want you, want you, want you to stop calling me
Whatever you’ll say, I’ll still want you to go away

because it's love
everything is written in a surprising story
because it's love
it is presented in an endless dimension
caressing the warmest labyrinth
penetrating the priceless definition
revealing the mystery color by color
romance is like fragments
united in a lover
because it's love

Thank you so much. The praise from everyone except GotSkill is so surprising!
Your graphics are amazing, too. If you wanted to make a single cover for I Gotta Know I wouldn't object.
And stan for Zara! It's so good that ATRL is finally starting to know about her. She's gonna be massive, I can tell. She's got the look AND the voice. Can't wait for her debut US album to slay everyone.

Whereas I'm the opposite, I'm not really one for metaphors and find them overdone and a bit trite. But each to their own!
