Katy Perry for being chosen as the Super Bowl halftime act for next year! She joins legends like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Diana Ross, U2, Paul McCartney, etc. and has proven herself to be the most significant female pop star today (Beyonce is not included in that, but Brandy is).
Previously on Survivor: ATRL Editoon (Season 4), the 20 remaining castaways returned to camp to further defend their place in the game. Round 4 had the castaways sending in songs representing one of the four natural elements. Overall, many contestants fell flat in their representation. In the end, Tribe Adranaha redeemed themselves once again while Tribe Bonbondi swiftly avoided tribal sending Tribe Brilando to their second tribal council. At the Brilando Tribal Council, it was lhdang2000 who was unanimously voted out becoming the fifth fallen castaway. What will happen this round on Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 4)?
Welcome castaways to Round 5 of Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 3)!
The theme for Round 5 is...
Forget About The Price Tag
This round we are moving back into our normal rounds where everyone represents one theme. The theme for this round focuses on materialism. Materialism is the way society tends to consider materialistic items ($) more important than what truly matters (health, stability). You are each to send in a song that lyrically depicts how materialism has taken over society. There are multiple songs out there that focus on this topic so I'm hoping for a better round than last round.
The example song for this round is "Price Tag" by Jessie J feat. B.o.B. off her debut album "Who You Are". The song's lyrics express Jessie reaching out to explain that there's more to life than just money.
Quote:
Why is everybody so obsessed?
Money can't buy us happiness
Can we all slow down and enjoy right now?
Guarantee we'll be feeling alright
The deadline for this round is October 11th at 11:00 PM U.S. Western time.
