Well as Tony said it's a catalogue album. That means that even after grammys and whatever sales will going on during the tour every Christmas season will keep selling. This album has the power to touch the Artpop sales in long time if not soon enough

I think they're likely to attend. They have a Grammy nomination and they're already doing something after the Grammys.

I'm not sure it will pass ARTPOP but it might match it easily.

I sill can not believe there are still people in here that doubt the fact that Born This Way has sold at least 6,5 and most probably has even touched the 7M mark by now.

I just counted its sales based on certifications only, without including the additional copies the album could have sold in advance to those certifications and I got a total of 5,6M.

There are some more certifications that I can think of, which are not to be found on wikipedia and I also did not count them, such as the Diamond certification the album received in Taiwan for over 100,000 sold copies.
Also, the only Asian country were the album has been certified is Japan (where it sold more than 750k copies), despite smashing in more countries.

How did people dare to call this a flop record 3 years back when it turned out to be the 2nd best selling female album of the decade (only behind 21) and most probably top 5 overall (behind 21, Buble and Frozen).

Billboard even said it was at 8 million in sales. Regardless of what everyone and every source says, the album averages out to 7 million.

If it was at 6.5 million worldwide by the end of 2011, it has definitely AT THE VERY LEAST sold 7 million worldwide.

'Cheek to Cheek' sold over 30,000 copies last week in the U.S., pushing its total to more than 515,000 copies sold. The album has outsold other popular mainstream releases in 2014, such as 'My Everything' by Ariana Grande, 'Ultraviolence' by Lana Del Rey, and 'The Pink Print' by Nicki Minaj.

All of Gaga's albums have sold at least 500,000 copies in the US. In addition, she and Tony Bennett made up a majority of total jazz record sales in 2014. It should also be noted that only 31 albums sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S. this year.

The album topped the Billboard 200 and is nominated for a GRAMMY. Gaga and Tony are now on a sold out tour to promote the album.
