Personally, I like heartfelt albums like this. It's one of the reasons I became a Mary Blige fan. I can deal with the "bitter, hurt, angry woman" as long as the vocals are strong, the lyrics are heartfelt and the melodies are good. Some people may have issues with the love/breakup topics, but if you're an R&B fan (R&B deals with these topics a lot), you might be able to use.

I love depressing + dark albums. I can't listen to them all the time though...only when I'm in the mood. This seems like one of those type of albums. I heard the studio version of Someone Like You today for the first time when I watched the video and I was like "OKAY ADELE!". So I'm really interested in hearing the rest. I hope I gag.

The song logs a second frame at No. 1 on Digital Songs (218,000, down 2%). The sum pushes the track's to-date digital sales to 2,008,000. Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," the first single from her sophomore album "21" that topped the Hot 100 for seven weeks beginning in May, is the top-selling download of 2011 with digital sales of 5.3 million.

Adele boasts one other million-selling download. Introductory single "Chasing Pavements," from her 2008 debut album "19," has sold 1.2 million, including 7,000 this week (up 10%).

"Someone" holds at No. 2 on Radio Songs with 136 million audience impressions (up 10%), according to Nielsen BDS.

I say she will release her next album in 2013 - a Christmas release would be HUGE. I would actually like her to release maybe a Christmas album before that. That would be awesome.
