There is no jealousy. I am simply dragging the movie to hell because it's awful. I am a HUGE Star Wars fan, and every other episode I have praised to the high heavens. Even the prequels, despite the few shortcomings.

Again, you forget that he is unstable and can't exactly control his emotions and truly use it to fight off his enemies like the sith do. Add to that that he had been injured multiple times in just a few minutes and was even psychologically weakened by the fact that h had just killed of his own father just a few minutes before his fight with Rey, aside from the fact that he was a low level apprentice. Rey manages to fight him off as well because she has used her own staff/stick to fight in the past (her skill is demonstrated when she catches Finn for example) and she also is strong with the force.

Now can you stop posting not using spoilers? There are still people who walk into the damn thread who haven't seen the movie yet and you're ruining the experience for them.

LOL, well excuse me for loving a fun, funny franchise that's meant for the kid inside all of us. I'm sorry I'm not a complete arrogant adult all the time and can enjoy a fun film without over-thinking it. Sorry I enjoyed myself for 2 hours of my life. If that bother's you, well sucks to be you. Ooooh, I have to be mad because executives ripped me off by showing me a fun film I enjoyed, ripped me off of 14 whole dollars, how will I ever earn those back.

I personally think the only issues I ahve with the movie is the slight lack of originality, it's very nostalgic as everyone else pointed out, but despite that I enjoyed the movie A LOT and thought it managed to over those issues with great new actors and all the new settings and all the potential the movie gives. It was fun & exciting but I do hope they move forward and do something more original with Episode VIII, which is probably going to happen. This still is the best blockbuster released this decade.

No, I think it's simply for kids. In fact, I think Disney chose a female lead to add to their canon of Disney princesses.

You don't have to be an arrogant adult to see what this movie is for what it truly is. You just have to be an adult who has seen better made films.

Disney is smart enough to know that if they made any of the Female characters a Disney princess they would get a massive backlash from the SW base.

My problem with your posts is that you went overboard with the nit-picking and made a lot of examples that did not need to be included. Does the movie have faults, yes, no movie is perfect, but JJ's job was to bring the franchise back and he did it, not to make a masterpiece. Star Wars has never been about that, it's a cult movie that changed the movie going experience in the 70s.

JJ is not directing another SW movie and VIII was written along with VII, and has already started shooting
