Hilary Duff is absolutely over the moon about her 2-month old baby boy Luca.
"There's really no words to describe it," Duff told us of motherhood at Bing and DoSomething.org's kickoff event for Bing Summer of Doing in L.A. "It's the most incredible thing every day. It softens you so much. I feel like a big mushy ball."
But is little Luca keeping Duff and her hockey-star hubby Mike Comrie from enjoying married life?

"We go out like once a week together and try and do something fun," the 24-year-old said. "We either go to dinner…we're going to go bowling next week. It's weird scheduling so much because we used to do things on a whim and no we have to schedule. But it's good. It's really important for your relationship."
As for how Comrie, 31, is as a dad, Duff gushed, "He's really incredible. He's so hands-on, so thoughtful, so loving. He's really a natural, it's incredible. I got really lucky."
Duff says they won't be having any more little ones any time soon. "Obviously we want more kids but we want to really enjoy Luca. I'm young. I still want to work and I feel like I have a lot to do."
Speaking of work, Duff is jumping back in the music studio. "I'm getting kind of nervous," she dished. "Next week I have all these meetings set with different producers and writers. I'm excited to start that process and I'm so nervous."
YES! Omg I'm so nervous too.
I'm wondering if this means she's dropping all the material she worked on before giving birth.
I miss those days when Disney Channel made a positive impact, not like now making jokes out of eating disorders (how tacky is that?).
I'm so excited about how Hilary is going to meetings and stuff but I'm still wondering if she is going for the ''new artist'' path (even if that is quite impossible) I'm talking about sending songs or demos to labels so she can get a record deal.
I remember buying the A Cinderella Story CD from Kmart and also receiving a big poster as a bonus for buying the CD.
I remember going to Denny's and ordering the A Cinderella Story combo or something which was chicken fingers with a pink sorta ketchup, a pink drink and they gave out posters too and I think stickers too.
Miss those days when Hilary was everywhere, want those days back. please slay the world Hil.

Even though that's what we've heard, it'll still be a lot different than other new artists. For example, those new artists are probably struggling financially and personally while trying to find a deal, they don't have as many connections to labels and may not even be the ones to represent their music to the label ie. their music manager does it.
Hilary, on the other hand, is at the top of the world financially and personally, she is working with a small team of people she trusts and currently has the new mom buzz. She also has the history of being a successful musician back in the day. She is likely experiencing everything first hand and will be able to plead a case when meeting with labels, in a better position that others.
The article is slaying me already. Here are event pictures from yesterday you all: June 1st: Hilary Duff At The Bing And DoSomething.org Kick Off The Bing Summer Of Doing At HOLA

Thank you for remembering me about that. Every time I would eat at Denny's I would order that and always receive the posters.
Watching A Cinderella Story right now. I can't believe Now You Know & Crashworld aren't available on iTunes. They would get significant jumps if they were.
But also, I googled Hilary right now to see if any of her new interviews had been posted and it hit me how YOUNG she still is. I mean - she's barely turning 25 in three months! She still has so much potential for the future. I just can't wait to see her succeeding again and making that comeback she truthfully deserves.
Yeah and to think about how much she has already done too. SO much success at such a young age. Holy ****. Can't wait to see where life takes her next.

Hmm it's possible. Or maybe we'll still hear it. She did say when she went back into the studio she was just "playing around" right? So maybe that's just part of it. Practising and getting back in the groove of things. Either way, with every artist there's always songs that are left off the album that fans never get to hear. It's happened with Hilary, it happens with everyone. So I guess it's just to be expected. I'm excited to hear whatever does end up on an album.

Interesting. I wonder if that's how she's approaching it too. Maybe that stuff she made in January are her "demos". With that being said, you can't compare her too much to a new artist. Maybe she's following the same method a new artist might in the application process. That's not an advantage for an unknown, but for Hilary I think it's an advantage in order to be taken more seriously and have more control over her music. But the record labels certainly won't be looking at her as a new artist. She has a proven track record of album and tour success so they'll be taking her very seriously.

Whaaat. I never heard of that at Denny's haha. Maybe it wasn't in Canada. Pink ketchup though? Ugh lol. I remember when coloured ketchup came out. It seemed so cool in theory, but when you actually ate it it was really icky. My purple ketchup looked grey too.No thx.
