Did you report it as pointless and off topic? Cuz that's what those types of posts are categorized as, I think. I've def reported someone for that, which ultimately got warned.

I would've reported it as pointless, but I don't think that's a reason anymore, and "disruptive" didn't seem to fit the bill. I figured the mod would be smart enough to categorize it appropriately, but I was wrong.

I think it'd be best if you'd make a help request if you want the warning looked at, but I doubt it'll be reversed. From what I understand, the point wasn't only for that post, but for the report of the post you quoted too.
