Kendrick won both of his Grammys at this past ceremony. They were either making up for snubbing him against Macklemore, or foreshadowing his upcoming sweep this year. Maybe both.

Taylor, Kendrick, D'Angelo seem to be the AOTY frontrunners. The absolute media mess if She beats multiple more-acclaimed albums from black artists after the mess with Nicki. Not looking forward to it.

And yeah, we are definitely expecting Sidney to be the biggest show in attendance (bar Hyde Park maybe). It is the biggest stadium she's playing at and they are using it to the fullest capacity possible given the stage!

In LSU they didnt use the part at the top of the stadium at all so i bet it did something around 50K max, which is still amazing!

I doubt he'll be nominated.

Past two AOTYs have gone to universally acclaimed albums from veteran artists after years out of the spotlight. Black Messiah fits that criteria perfectly.

It would be nice for 1989 to win, but the chances of them giving the Lord a second AOTY so soon (and for a pure pop album) are pretty slim. I'm sure she'll be nominated though.

k, I never said any of that other stuff was/wasn't true and I don't really care about it. You can pull out a million differences among all the AOTY winners, all I'm saying is that D'Angelo seems a lot more likely than the Lord given recent results and the fact that She already won it. Where was the Lord's previous AOTY nomination or being a rock artist when She was nominated and won for Fearless?

But like, totally feel free to get yourself all hyped that 1989 will win AOTY! The first time I ever tried posting in this base was on the night of the 2014 Grammys, and I got chewed out by angry stans who were having a meltdown that Red didn't win AOTY
