The redemption ******** was just stupid, she 'redeemed' herself multiple times throughout the season, yet always went back to being a bitch. That's who Chanel is, and who she will always be.

It is a Horror Comedy. It always has been. A Black Comedy is The Office, Weeds & Scrubs, which is nothing like SQ.
You're not supposed to love Chanel.. she's comedy & she's a terrible person. Just because you edgy gays idolize her, doesn't mean anything. I assume you think you're supposed to love Regina George in Mean Girls as well right?
All the times Chanel "changed", everything went back to place. Life in an asylum was the first time she grew all season and realized her actions had consequences and she had to make most of the situation she was in. Yes she was in an asylum, but she was able to peel open a side of her she never knew she had, a compassionate, friendly & warm one. She accepted her fate and decided to be a much better person.
The new house of Kappa being run by Grace & Zayday is clearly a symbol of the typical sorority system being toppled and new wave of girls changing it.

I watched the full season in 3 days and I must say I really liked it I don't mind the ending, I like it. Though i was ready for justice to be served. Mama Denise was EVERYTHING though, I want her to get her own spin off show tbh
Renew this please @FOX

I'll take it as, if the show is renewed, Chanel will plan her revenge and avenge her left sisters on s2 now that she and #5 are besties. She changed and all but being attacked must definitely remind her of everything that was taken from her and wake her up from this madness of being deluded that she's reformed. She knows and they know who did it, why are they letting themselves take the fall. It's all non-sense.
If it's cancelled, she died

He should have predicted it.
Watch Darren Criss's irrelevant dead character on the AHS suddenly be the hero in the finale.

LordTee.
I didn't give two S***s about this show until I watched episode 1 in like October or September. I laughed at many weird moments while high, then continued to watch until the 5th episode which was the last aired date at that time. I was hooked. AHS is the only Ryan show I give chances to and I love em all even if FS had s*** episodes.
Anyway. My feelings with the finale of this is mixed. Like, f*** off you sociopaths on this site who want Ryan dead or to be murdered. You're as disgusting as Chanel's character and probably need to seek help or a fake jesus to just calm down.
Yes, the finale was pretty weak in areas, and I watch s*** for what they are, and to not be critical. The end game of this whole show is pretty funny. Bi-polar at best, but makes a bit of sense.
Hester makes.... the most sense of being the killer. But the real damage of the finale is everyone believing Hester, even though she did have a nice backburner of "evidence" that the Chanels are guilty... it was a bit too much.
Cathy pretty much knew Hester was part of this whole thing from the beginning. She remarks that, and I love how she didn't really give a s***. She seemed hellbent on the Chanels anyway.
I for one, love that the Chanels went to the asylum. They totally deserve it. (Well, #3 didn't but... oh well.) And I love that they made it their own lifestyle. Them not enjoying the asylum would of been boring. But the kii I got with that monologue was fun. The jump scare in the last 5 seconds was bad, but it's whatever. It's just "Scream Queens" and I accept it for what it is.
Few random opinions:
- #3 was my ultimate choice of being the killer. Then realized she's just... ditzy and in her own world most of the time. I love her.
- I'm guessing Sam was killed by Boone? Well... that's ... stupid. I always wanted to know who pulled the mask off. I'd go for Pete being the one instead of Boone.
- The comedy and dialogue of this show saves the finale. It's an entertaining show at best, and while high? It's so god damn funny.
- The haters of the finale, the ones who wish literal, actual death of Ryan Murphy that I saw in this thread when reading everyone's reactions. You disgust me more than your f***ed up, messy brains not coping with the finale.

The horror of exposition is more important than actual horror, on Scream Queens
|
Quote:
But for what ever reason, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan forgot to actually do the one thing that was promised by them and the show’s premise as a slasher anthology: slash characters.
|
Quote:
Plus, the “huge amount” to die in these last two episodes are simply Pete, the pizza man, and the original Red Devil (but only if you count a flashback kill). The best word I can think to describe all of that is “lame,” and I’m well aware that “lame” is probably the way Wes would describe the situation.
|
Quote:
It’s also especially underwhelming when “The Final Girl(s)” becomes an episode that’s guaranteed to have absolutely no killing—as everything is finger pointing, then everything is peachy keen—after a penultimate episode that barely killed anyone. These episodes had to be a blood bath in order to make up for the lack of deaths in the previous episodes, but instead, they featured the most talk and exposition of any other episode.
|
Quote:
What makes all of this even more disappointing is that these last two episodes, “Dorkus” and “The Final Girl(s),” are two of the funniest episodes of the series. If nothing else, Scream Queens has succeeded in making these characters as fully-formed as it can while still being as wildly inconsistent with its characters as a Murphy/Falchuk/Brennan comedy can be.
|
Quote:
But this is a horror-comedy. Not a comedy. That’s not a nitpick. That’s the truth. The show is only doing half of what it’s set out to do, and doing half the work isn’t a success in any medium.
|
Quote:
Early on, one of the worst things about these episodes is how absurdly long certain scenes are, in attempts to stretch out the reveal. the Pete/Grace info dump at the beginning of “Dorkus” goes on for 10 minutes, and 10 straight minutes of Pete and/or Grace is generally one of the worst things that can happen to this show.
|
Quote:
“The Final Girls(s)” takes this a step further, because it’s not really a season finale as much as it is an epilogue that is stretched out to an hour with commercials. The biggest reason for its existence is obviously to apply logic to a story that involves intense leaps of logic (from a writing perspective, not within the ridiculous world of the show) in the first place.
|
Quote:
And in all of this, even with all of the exposition, the mission statement and intent of the killers is too flawed to ignore.

The “whodunit” is ultimately an “whocareswhodunit” and the “whydunit” was answered from the very beginning, even before the twin part.

Just watched Dorkus. Ryan better not be serious with this ********. Hester is the killer? Please. Not ANOTHER vehicle for Lea to prance around in. She's never been funny or interesting. Let's hope this is another fake-out just like Pete.
That being said, Skyler SLAYED this ep. I have this theory: she's actually twins. One is obsessed with hideous hats and is a terrible actor. The other dresses like a normal human in 2015 and slays. Had she been like this the whole season she would've been a top 5 character.
Also, I cackled at all of #5's Tinder jokes. And at #3's "wait there's pizza?" Those 2 NEED to survive.

nn. This sentence says it all, hippos!
The stray observations

Scream Queen Of The Week: Those three seconds of Dirty Helen. Hopefully she’s one of the “four” to make it out alive.

Here’s another Scream 4 comparison: The Chanel No. 5/Chad Kroeger on Tinder thing is similar to Trudie/Channing Tatum’s abs on Facebook moment from the movie’s first act.

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY 1 THINKIN OF THAT
Quote:
Grace and Zayday chose the worst time to lack conviction, as they could have shown the evidence they found to someone instead of just repeating that Hester was the killer. Then again, they thought it was weird there was a college class for sewing but didn’t bat an eye at the domestic terrorism class.

So, is the trip to Napa basically Wes abandoning his daughter, or are we just supposed to forget Dean Munsch’s ultimatum from the previous episode? I know, I know: Forget it, LaToya—it’s Scream Queens.

This would slay tbh
Hat-less Grace >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.Dog poop >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. Normal Grace
Her lines are so cringy I died when she told Dean Munch that she was baking cookies made of sugar and spice and everything nice, and we can all share our feelings and paint rainbows and say how much we love each other and our sisterhood
I was begging for Dean Munch to SHUT her mouth, like literally.
This is how Grace should have died. Someone should stich up her lips so she would never be able to speak again.

I have no issues with Lea. I like her a lot. I just don't like how the ending went still.
The Chanels are all great though.

Mess at Nasim's instagram having all but 1 contractually obligated picture about the finale in 8 weeks. She knew.
