Because normally songs don't get that high without a video. Cheers wasn't even in the Top 1000 before it got airplay and it's managed to get that high with airplay alone. Personally, I've never felt Cheers was an automatic smash. It's always been one way or another in my mind and clearly it's going down the good route.

I already knew that it was going to smash because the last two songs weren't like big hits...and of course the navy had to go HARD this time

Someone Like You and You & I these two songs are amazing (after GaGa just released that incredible video I'm so into the song now) and so different than what's been popular recently. It's going to be so interesting to see if they can hit the Top 10. And with Pumped Up Kicks in there, 2011 is all about surprise hits!
