That's what I meant. I was referring to making sure we simply teach children in harmony, but in accordance with how their brains naturally work. i.e. talking to people about feelings is manly as opposed to womanly.

Yes, we should be strong. Everyone who wants to be a leader, regardless of gender, should know when to be assertive and aggressive. Not every man has what it takes to be in charge.

I wasn't even really talking about leadership quality. I was referring to capacity to do good/evil. White people and men have generally been evil for most of history, so I'm saying that they don't have to be given power and assigned leadership roles.

They are co-leaders, just in different aspects. Men are the protectors, while women are usually the nuturers. NOW if the man or woman want more of a role in a different aspect of the family that's outside the typical gender role then I say let them. I don't hate gender roles for what they are, I just hate them when they limit what others want to do. Kind of like religion.

I think a man should be strong and assertive, but if the woman wants to feel strong and assertive, let her.

I think it should be 50/50 in everything BUT finances.
$$$ = the man's job. Rent, mortgage, tuition, car payments etc

I mean of course a man needs to be assertive and aggressive when raising his family in order to protect them, but I just feel like some of you are insinuating that a man seems more capable of doing that than a female.
