If she believes we will name it that, who cares about an official 'Album of the Decade' title.

With her billions of views, she of all people should know that we're living in the age of YouTube. What she says to her fans, she's saying to the whole world.

I love the hype and all the tweets and hints.
She and everyone else wouldn't hype it that much if it's not really amazing. She's not stupid to hype and talk so much about it at this point of her career if it's not really big.

I agree, but I really don't believe that hundreds of thousands of people know as much as her obsessive active stans. I wouldn't know half the stuff I do, If were not checking or actively using my Twitter. Would you not agree

No one in my Class knows anything about Gaga's next Album, though they bought her Singles and The Fame and even The Fame Monster.

Of course the general public doesn't know as much as her fans. That goes without saying. But that quote has been picked up by pretty much all the major news media. It's as out there as news about a Lady Gaga album could possibly be. Obama's not going to come out and give a speech about it.

I just feel like all we've been hearing is: hooks from God, anthem of the generation, album of the generation, etc...etc.....people should just stop talking about the CD.

There is a difference between giving fans hints/information and calling something the new standard for the rest of our lifetimes. As much as it annoys me, Britney Spears saying "I love my new album" is better than proclaiming so many promises and feats because then I can make my own decisions when the CD comes out.

No you shouldn't wish for low expectations but you shouldn't raise expectations so high to the point where there will be feelings of disappointment regardless of what you put out.

I agree with all this. I like the hype, just not the comments. It was great at first, but it's now not making me more hyped, it's actually worrying me more and more

I know. I'm seriously worried.

I really don't want to see GaGa fail critically or in the sales (as long as it doesn't coincide with Britney's release ). Sure, maybe I'm just being pessimistic and BTW is really worth the hype...but I really want GaGa to find success...not fail because she couldn't keep her poker face.
