I'll never forget how the entire world stanned for Telephone's MV when it dropped. At least we'll always have had a level of GP-appreciation none of the pop girls ever really had at their peaks. Everyone thought Gaga was the absolute greatest thing on Earth and anything she did was considered perfectly balanced between outrageous and artistic.

the lyrics (they're weird but they're smart), the uniqueness, the chorus, the enigma popstar bit, the middle eastern strings throughout particularly in the beginning and end.... everything basically except the first verse.
