Elle even stated 6M in their latest article (too random number not to be named by someone specifically to them, I think - like AMAs with 50M. That's why I'm not so sceptical about it, although they could be trolling/stating something they don't know/label inflations or smth)
Either way, who updates Mediatraffic and how often (especially a year after album's release)?.. Why do we rely on it so much?
