The performance was great imo. She did it for the crowd. You can clearly tell that honestly she doesn't give a **** about Marry The Night as a whole. She's had her high sales and right now is a time of celebration.

When she stopped singing MTN, I became excited and thought she would do something interesting and continue singing more powerfully. She started doing BTW instead. So anticlimactic.
Not to mention how despicably MTN was cut. She didn't even bother to start the final chorus (i'm gonna marry) to make the transition to the breakdown (which lasted for five seconds) smoother.

But yup, those beats really bring out all of the album's, all around, epicness
just watched the performance, and it was great! i really don't see how people can be so critical about it.. i was expecting it to be some disastrous event that marked the end of her career by the way some of you are going on about it. sure the transitions weren't very smooth but she did MTN pretty fantastic, and to be honest, compared to the other performers that night (bieber, pitbull, lmfao) she slayed.
on a sidenote i REALLY REALLY wanted scheisse as the next single, but tonight sort of hinted to HML.. but like i said, its one of the most forward sounding tracks on the album that i wanted to see get an eventual release so i'm not bothered. but she HAS TO RELEASE SCHEISSE AT SOME POINT.
