I honestly like some Meghan Trainor songs as Title was one of my favorite albums last year, and some of her songs on Thank You were cute, but something about her is just unbearable. It's like she tries way too hard to be relate-able.

A legend is an artist who has strong sales, strong acclaim and strong influence. If you don't have all 3 of those things then you can't really be considered a full legend.
So yes that means artists like David Bowie and Cher are not full blown legends but people like MJ, Whitney and Beyonce are.
Cause I don't think anybody is losing sleep over not getting a Kanye Kardashian exclusive now-a-days with his average streaming numbers.
