It did, improvements to facilities post-2012 were great. Our best performers have been getting funding from the national lottery since about '97 so they can train full-time. Atlanta was really embarrassing for GB and the catalyst for better funding.

The conspiracy theorist in me says the gymnastics judges/FIG didn't want a clean sweep by the USA. MadKo yesterday and Laurie today , But its Okay , give other countries a chance I guess .

A part in me wants simone to come back stronger for Tokyo but after seeing the Gabby slander this year I just want her to go out on a high .

Barring injuries Laurie might be good in 2020 but someone new will snatch the spotlight for sure

Simone doing great 7 years after her first wouldn't be too big of a stretch.
