This isn't a comeback either. Whitney, Mariah and Britney were--they all had issues to overcome, whether personal or commercial, and proved themselves with hit albums (one being a true smash). Christina just took a break, but she was always somewhat successful and she never had any bad press really.

Yeah I will actually agree with you on Beyonce not having a comeback, I'll say Janet's "Discipline", though it flopped, instead. The others, however, are comebacks including Christina. Look at the aspects leading up to now; B2B didn't sell nearly as well as "Stripped", KGB completely flopped, and she took an extended break to start a family and rest. The sound of this album is completely different from any of her prior albums and promotion is being strategically placed to make it seem like a what... a COMEBACK
She is also returning to an industry ruled by new female artists such as GaGa, Kesha, Rihanna, hell even Miley, so a "comeback" is rather fitting for her and this era. I'm just sayin'
