Y'all best be happy I was unaware we could award 0s. Tinashe her discography would have been eliminated already if I knew. Charli does not deserve this.
Like "Red Balloon", this song was added to the European edition of the album. Considering the little Suckers were more positive towards this song, i'm a little surprised it's done so poorly here. I really like the song myself, especially at the end when we see a little bit of Charli's softer side (which is her best side).
Sorry to rub salt in your wounds Drowned_World sis, but at one point this song was 20 places higher than it is now. I blame Marq.
Subomie describes the song as "Bratty but in a kinda good way", which is the whole album in a nutshell, really. K$Ellie thinks that "It's a shame that the verses of this song are good because the chorus is unlistenable. The screaming " A reminder that the good sis gave a 10 to Red Balloon. conatus agrees with K$Ellie: "That chorus is TOO shrill. The verses are great, though. Conflicted.". Like most of the voters, Kang. is pretty indifferent: It has a nice progression but "tell me baby are you over me?" is a lazy response to the first line of the hook, she could have thought harder on that one." But thinks it's a "good choice for a bonus track still". genetic fail weighs in: "If you're so over the guy, why you gotta write a song about it? Makes me think you still hung up on him. Nice track tho." That's kinda deep.
Let's end respectfully with the person who gave it an 11: "I always thought of this as "Boom Clap" part two, both musically and thematically. I also love the certain feeling of nostalgia it conveys. All in all it's one of my absolute favourite Charli songs. Too bad it wasn't featured on the original release because I would have loved for it to become a single at some point.". Heaven couldn't wait for ha.
