Does meat taste good enough to make up for the industry it is built on? Again, supporting the industry and wishing to eat meat are two different things.

Looks like I have a long way to go to veganism

It's definitely not for everyone and that's fine to me. I know many vegetarians and vegans are extremely hostile and it gives us such a bad reputation .
I will say though that your comparison with felines is off in my eyes because they are a) carnivores and have no other options while humans are omnivores and b) they are bound to their instinct while humans aren't and can make a conscious effort.

You're describing social behaviors (raping, stealing,...) which are influenced by our society. My body need meat to function, I can't change it, and I need to kill to have meat. It's natural, it's our job to make it sustainable for the Earth though.

I am not deying that many vegans need pills to get in certain vitamins.

- yes and no, depends on which animals we're talking about. Some animals, for example bees, are worth more since without them there is no life, period.

- one consumes more meat, cows produces milk and pigs don't do anything with their lives, dogs can me useful and cats are too small to be worth killing and eating, I guess

- I honestly don't find it any more disturbing than killing chicken or pigs, but I kinda grew over it that animal kingdom eats nasty things, including each other. It's kinda biology, but I don't know how I feel about humans growing and taking care of thousands of animals just to kill them and sell their meat

- I'm not grossed up easily, but I kinda accepted that it's evolution and biology and that animals kills others and eat them. It's just that the fact humans put chemicals in animals, make thousands of them and then kill them. It's really gross, that's my main issue. Not eating meat as much as torturing them so much

It's also important to note that being vegetarian/vegan isn't the only way.
You can also buy productst from local farms if possible where you know animals will be treated in a good way. Although I know those can be expensive.

I am. If there are two sexes then there are two genders since gender is the word we use to describe the relations between different sexes. So if there are two sexes then it means there are two genders. That doesn't mean that a person has to conform to a stereotype of a gender, they can have different aspects from both.
