Last October 11, 2011, the SM Group launched The Mall of Asia Arena, said to become one of the major entertainment destinations in the country.
The launching was held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex. The Mall of Asia Arena is nearing its completion and will open May 12 next year.
As early as now, there are talks that Britney Spears will be the first artist to hold a concert at the soon-to-open arena. Some also say that the next Miss Universe pageant will be held in the Philippines and the MOAA will be the venue for the coronation night.
