She charted but peaking in the bottom quarter of the chart isn't anything to brag about. Since 2010, Ciara's had 4 singles not chart on the Hot 100, Kelly has had 6. And if we include her features, it's 15.

If Kelly was doing better than Ciara then Kisses Down Low wouldn't be falling down every chart it's on and instead would be in the Top 10 of some chart. I mean, it's not even on 106 & Park.

Ciara's third try this era finally charts & y'all lose y'all mind. Kelly has been more successful than Ciara in recent years. Just be happy about BP's success.

Fact is Kelly has only been able to find success on urban due to Ciara's absence. No one thinks about Kelly enough to out of the blue "come for her".

The problem with Kelly is I feel she lacks a certain star quality/ power .. Ciara is on her way to rebuilding that star quality she once had, Kelly never really did haw it tbh.. Saying that they are both great urban artists and there music is different enough to be appreciated in different ways.. Even though Ciara will always be the queen for me.. Kelly needs to come a tad but harder this era though.. Ice lacked, "kisses down low" was better but it's lasting appeal is what matters especially in this day and age...

I don't care what Kelly has done in the past months, it's irrelevant. "Body Party" and Ciara have arrived and outshined, outcharted.

Ciara > Kelly. Period. If she had so much hype, she wouldn't have three failed singles.

So basically Kisses Down Low is the only song she has had chart "Solo"? I give Kelly one thing.. She makes sure she is heard!!! If she doesn't have a song out, she's on someone elses. Something I believe Ci should be doing.

People seem to look past the fact that Ciara's career isn't just resurrected "by chance"

It's clear they lacked MAJOR promo and adequate material in previous eras, something Kelly cannot argue. W/e though.

The point is. Kelly has only had one flop single - Lay it On Me - since her last major hit.

Before Body Party, Ciara's last hit was Ride and she had FOUR FLOP SINGLES in that space of time.

FIrst of all what people aren't understanding is that Basic Instinct wasn't even promoted to even be a flop album, it was an album that wasn't suppose to be released.. SO how is it a flop?

Second of all Everyone knows that ciara is kinda known world wide, the rest of her fanbase(album buyers) Aren't aware of where she is because they aren't informed enough of where she is to go out and buy her ****.

I seriously doubt this album will flop,.. Seriously whos not going to want to check for ciara?? Shes the only female this era dancing.
