I don't get the "Oh, I have so much free space now". Like, hard discs with 1 TB of memory storage are so cheap. I don't know how and when I will fill them.

Me too cuz iTunes in desktop has always been a glitchy mess for windows, no matter how good my computer is. And my iPod 5 takes like 2 seconds to open apps so it's slow as hell. I want the app for my Android phone cuz I want to enjoy Apple Music in ultra speed.

I'm reinstalling 12.1.2. right now because the new version keeps crashing after some time no matter what I do. I'm on Windows 7 and the previous version ran without any problems whatsoever. 12.2. was fairly laggy on the other hand.

Doesn't really apply to the people who are spending high priced money for all of that data usage anyway. So for those people it works. I on the other hand definitely need to use the cloud because my stupid phone is already filled up with songs I bought/Downloaded from other retailers.

Finally upgraded and loving it so far, but is there someway to hide the artists bios and the pictures that pop up? They clog so much space on the pages.

There really is no competition! I get to download any song and treat it as if I had purchased it (edit the tags, change artwork etc.) in the same Music app of always, so as a user of the iOS ecosystem this is a no brainer.

For desktop: Search for what you want to download on the "New" tab, when you find it, click on the 3 dots (ellipsis) and choose "Add to My Music". After this, the content will be in your library and you can treat it as if you had purchased it from the store.

One thing I dislike is how I can't use the songs from Apple Music stored on my phone on third-party apps such as picture slideshows as background music.

why is it that when the "show songs available offline" button is on each song still gives me to individually save them offline....i thought they already were if they showed up when the offline button was being used...is this a glitch?

iCloud Music Library is so.. unnecessarily complicated for songs that aren't saved from Apple Music

like, I downloaded a song from SC (wasn't on Apple Music) and synced my phone 5/6 times and it wouldn't sync to the playlis or phone, then i realized i had to uncheck "show music available offline only" and make said song available offline.. so it doesn't sync from iTunes to the iPhone anymore for locally stored songs? that's annoying

and when you uncheck songs now in your iTunes library now, they still don't get taken off of your iPhone? bc it's stored in the iCloud library and you have to remove the download there...? so did they just completely remove any functionality iTunes had with the iPhone? because basically the library in my iTunes and the library on my iPhone used to mirror each other before Apple Music was released, but now they're stand alones. that's really annoying

another thing about iCloud ML is that some of my artwork on my iTunes and on the iPhone is also different. like for some mixtapes and custom artworks, they're how I made them on iTunes but show differently on the iPhone, and i don't know how to get it to fix itself it's not a huge deal but i know some users in here mentioned the same problem.

you should at least have the option to not use iCloud Music Library but still use Apple Music... cause it seems to be the root of every problem anyone has with AM so far
