I blame all of this on Ryan's interviews. He made the show seem like each episode was going to be filled with clues so it made all of us look for a deeper meaning behind everything.

If there's another season we should all take everything at face value and move on.

Like, the first 12 episodes ACTUALLY made it seem like there could be more to this, and the way everyone was talking in interviews made it seem like there actually was something, and then the finale shut that down.

It honestly seems like they changed it at the last second. I refuse to accept that this is how it was planned to end.

I do find the Haunted House episode odd, how Hester brought Chad to Ms Bean's dead body and said it was a wax replica, then accidentally poked a hole in her and shockingly screamed and left. I mean there's always the "she was pretending to not know" but it doesn't seem likely tbh, she could have much more easily just either avoided the body or acted shocked when she saw it.

At this point, it's safe to say she faked that stuff to get ahead in life and had no intent on actually changing. Don't forget what happened with Hester in 1x09 AND Melanie Dorkus.

She also confirms in 1x12 that she does the apology stuff as a PR move. This girl cared for no one but herself

She also burnt Ms. Bean's face off (Okay, Hester turned the fryer on. Chanel O is still guilty of manslaughter or negligent homicide at best, guys) and covered it up. Attempted to kill Melanie Dorkus with scissors. Hid #2's body and tried to cover up the murders to avoid going to prison.........

Seeing as it was portrayed in the absolute correct light and she got what she deserved, I completely agree. I wouldn't have had Chanel any other way. (I'm not being sarcastic, I genuinely like Chanel O after this finale, particularly how evil she was. Seeing everything come together, it worked 100% perfectly)

It all felt forced! She's been the apologetic bitch back and forth the past episodes. Apologize then back to normal. Back to normal then apologize so on... A better redemption could have been her saving her Kappa sisters, during the final RD chase scene that ended up not existing! Her sudden change not having much development aside her having an epiphany is actually annoying. Though Emma, handled this ugly script very professional and still acted amazingly, that scream to the judge LMFAOOOO

the more i think about it the more the finale felt like it was all in just favor of Lea Michele. Not Hester, but Lea Michele.

the only explanation for this is that whoever the RD is doesn't know they're the RD so the acting was legit

This guy lied about there being 4-5 survivors. Now look at this from realistic PoV:

It costs ~A LOT~ and I mean ~A LOT~ of money to shoot an entire 40 minute episode, especially with this cast. Likewise, it would take at least a week (probably 2-3) to finish shooting and editing just this finale in it's entirety. And you have to pay all the editors and color correctors for that. Do you really, truly thing Fox blew money on 2 full-length, forty minute finales that it was never going to use? That's sheer insanity from a business PoV (what Fox is interested in)

It was a realistic notion when I thought they were just changing an ending reveal and some survivors with most the ep staying intact. But three completely different versions of one episode? No. That would never happen. The only way it would is if Fox didn't like the initial ending and told Ryan to do something else. Seeing as Ryan and the cast are 100% proudly taking credit for this ending, that's obviously not the case. This was the goal since Day 1.

TV shows and movies film scenes all the time that get scrapped. For example, they had a whole day filming different scenes of promos at the beginning of filming the series, and they were pretty much all scrapped (except the millisecond in the trailer of Chanel throwing gum over the balcony and hitting Grace below).

They also supposedly filmed alternate takes of most of the murder scenes with the victim playing the other side. If they used the same sets on the same days, it wouldn't have been hard at all.
