Will the 3rd episode begin with the aliens having already invaded Edo? It's a ridiculous premise, but I'm just curious if we'll ever get any explanation on that. Yeah. They're already there. The show is like this... it's episodic and sometimes have two short episodes in one. Random stuff usually happens in those episodes. Some episodes have sad stories too though. There's variation, but mostly comedy.
Then there are also comedy arcs where there's a mini story unrelated to the main story.
And then there are serious arcs where they deal with the Amanto and various other groups that are involved in the actual story. The first serious arc doesn't start until episode 50.
Also arcs are usually 3-6 episodes long. There are a few that are more than that though.
It takes a while to really get into, but once you do, it's amazing
!
So far, this 2-part pilot is not the business. I can see why everyone says to skip it.
