This is an issue with her image, a major problem. She can never make everyone happy because as soon as she gives people what the majority asked for (but not QUITE in the exact same way), they want whatever else alternative they can think of that was different.

Eh, I mean, personally I'm joking around a lot of the time. People take me too seriously though, so I've just kinda let it be.
As for me, I don't think I'll leave completely. I'll still be in YTT and such, but I dunno if I'll be sticking around the album thread too much when all people are talking about is how they'll jump ship if the DWUW video isn't up to their standards. ITs just not constructive, in my opinion.

I don't see the point in announcing that you are leaving either to be honest. I will praise, and I will criticise, but I will never LEAVE Gaga after all her music has done for me.

The era will be fine. The singles have been doing well and even if the album never scans platinum, the tour will make it all look better on paper. You were all dying for an era with fun music and it's finally here so why not just enjoy it. Everyone always seems to forget that ATRL nothing more than a stan playground and has never been a good predictor of ... anything really.

Like I said during BTW era, any fan that jumps ship now is probably just using her for the sales and & a sense of power. A few will jump after ARTPOP if they really think its awful, but still. ARTPOP is my favorite album from her and like with BTW I'm sticking with her. Dropping her would be delusional and pathetic.

I agree. When Joanne got a prediction of 350k, they chastized Katy's number. And when the predictions get lower they defended that Applause wasn't as big of a hit akin to Roar.
I mean it's hard being a Gaga fan without being labelled as cocky when the fanbase is too quick to downplay other pop girl's success.
Eh... As a fanbase we are bundled, I guess we'll have to carry that burden.

I want her to have commercial success so she can continue to produce music. I don't want her getting dropped and not hearing any more Gaga. But that's it. As long as the music she produces is meaningful to me and enough to keep her signed, I am happy.

I wasn't involved neither in those dragfests and that's why it bothers me when they replies me that we were the first ones to mock the others' sales. Some of us were feeling too cocky and now this is backfiring hard.

I get your point, you're really smart actually and I see that when you said something negative about Gaga you do it consciously and constructively.
The problem is that most of the drama is coming from fans/former-fans more than from the "haters".
