I still don't know why Daughtry, Green Day and Timbaland performed in the 1st place..? And DEAD @ saying Daughtry sold over 6 million albums; 5,7 sold their debut alone and I don't wanna go for Leave This Town's sales.
Why are award shows so weird? It seems like everyone was just a little bit off their game last night. And Jermajesty. And Gloriana. And Taylor Swift. I don't know, it seems like every award show leaves me with a little bit of a bitter taste.
BTW I haven't heard many people talking about it, but was Lambert's drop and roll real???? He recuperated so quickly and his performance was so out there that I didn't know.

oh no he fell lol he just knows how to think fast on his feet lol
Seemed like the AMA's was a combination of genuinely great performances, and those that just tried way too hard.
Adam Lambert was almost uncomfortable to watch. Not because he's gay, so don't throw that argument out there. But it was a sad, desperate attempt to make a truly bad song look good. Too bad rubbing a guys face in his crotch and making out with a band member didn't grab the headlines like he thought it might.
Jennifer Lopez - that chorus, sounds awfully familiar doesn't it? Big props for recovering from the tumble, but other than that, the whole thing was a bit much.
Shakira - She's so hot, and that's about it, because again it was uncomfortable to watch. You could actually visualize the crowd saying "wtf".
Rihanna - I'm so hard, I try too hard, my new music is bogus compared to my old material.
Kelly Clarkson - Flawless vocals. Funny how no one cares how about her weight when she sings that well.
Jay/Alicia Keys - Definitely the crowd favorite. Brought everyone together dancing and singing.
Alicia solo - Amazing. Great chorus on that track
GaGa - The girls got balls. Was impressed
Green Day - Nice rendition of a song thats played out.
Carrie Underwood - Great vocals, but again - trying way too hard. And did she remember this wasn't the CMAs? Exactly same performance.
Mary J - Brought the house down.
Black Eyed Peas may have been one of my favs for the night because they pretty much cemented themselves as the world's band. Everyone (well almost) likes the BEP, and their tunes just make you feel good. MMH sounded great remixed, and BBP continued to amaze me that it could actually sound good live. Loved the Nirvana ending to that one too.
