Not quality being on the same sentence as local quest. Too much for series that don't have a 90 game on metacritic or 1M outside of Japan. Still better than reusing assets.
I wasn't dragging SMT but actually shading the games like Tales Of, whatever Atelier Lola is and the Fire Emblem attempts which just rely in otaku, gay, uguu pandering without actually offering a good product. The lack of confidence of the little personas tho.
And I don't know why you cling to MT receipts but slay at you at least not posting Kotaku review scores. But why am I really questioning is what do sales have to do with the quality of a product. Maybe the Persona and Fire Emblem stans might explain their correlation, since Illusory Revelations #FE flopped in Japan harder than a Bayonetta game.
Mess at you having to bring up Fire Incest into this, something Dragon Quest shares with it. And not kotaku of all the places, they're basically #FE main audience
Btw, Suikoden 1 is currently at $1.50 at the PSN, along with some other JRPGS.

Yeah. You can transfer armor and their levels + weapon levels will be raised (but not by much at all). Plus you get an extra character if you have a clear save.

Yes. Some of the characters stats and the MC name, but I believe a lot of things are glitched

And btw it shouldn't be a surprise you can still get the demo, as a matter of fact there are still new copies of Type-0 HD with the demo. So you still have a chance and I remember a month ago the day one edition is still on the SE site as well.
Thank god I didn't stay for the DQ event, ANTidiaRy teas. Nothing announced, nothing new and the event had a month of hyping prior.
