Went to a big park in my town that I hadn't been yet and had a hugely successful run where I got enough Growlithe and Nidoran (both sexes) to evolve em all so Arcanine, Nidoking and Nidoqueen here I come when I get my next lucky egg.

But I hatched my 10k egg today and got my third Eevee...is this a glitch or something because I think more than half my 10ks have been Eevees at this point...I'm over them!!!!

Got my first snorlax today on campus. Also saw an Ivysaur for the first time but it escaped sadly

I finally collected enough candies to evolve into Arcanine and Sandslash, only for them to get terrible move sets.



Also, every Parasect, Venomoth, and Golbat I've ever had always gets Cross Poison or Poison Fang.

All that work only to get borderline useless 'mons in the end. Among everything else, they really need to revamp move sets in this game. If they're going to continue making move sets random, then at least give each Pokemon a wider move pool to choose from and add new moves to the game. They pretty much just recycle the same moves for each type of Pokemon and end up assigning ridiculous moves to certain ones. Like, my Seaking not being able to learn any Water moves and my Pinsir learning two Fighting moves makes no damn sense.

Guys do you think move sets are that important?

I mean what I've seen so far is you get either a big attack with one charge or a weaker one with many charges, so after using them you end up with practically the same damage effect as the first one

they need to introduce some kind of way to move tutor pokemon, either a rare item from poke stops, a new location point of interest or an item from winning battles

From what I've read, the difference between the best and worst moveset is greater than that between average and prefect ivs. Indeed, I have a 97.8% 15/14/15 kabutops that is TRASH in battle, due to having Fury Cutter/Ancient Power (the worst possible moveset in terms of DPS, not to mention abysmal type synergy).

And keep in mind animation times also factor in to what determines the best possible moveset. Factoring in animation time, using 1 hydro pump (90 bp) gives more damage per second than 3 water pulses, even tho the latter technically gives more power per fully charged energy bar. But total DPS is more important.

I caught a Rhydon on Friday after getting a drink from Starbucks <3 #CaucasiansAlwaysWin and I finally hatched a Pikachu, but she's weak af. Queen Exeggcutor is my strongest followed by Blastiose.

So lucky, randomly found an Onix on my way to school so finally i'm at 100% caught + seen (110).

I'm at 123/123 for Caught/Seen.

Added a Wartortle, Charizard (worst moveset), Nidoking, Wigglytuff, Seadra, Hitmonlee (caught), Victrebell (caught), Weezing (caught), and Porygon (caught).

I could evolve my Vulpix but it has ****** IVs. I'm close to a Machamp, Clefable, Poliwrath, and Omastar.
Also halfway to a Gyarados. If I get Twister, I'm throwing my phone into the ocean.

Caught 111, seen 112. I have enough candy to get my 112th Pokemon (Magneton), but all the magnemites have piss poor IVs. No thanks, I'll wait for something decent.

Once I get the update I'm gonna walk my Exeggute. I rarely battle right now because the water Pokemon are simply too strong in my area. My Tangela, Gloom, and Weepinbell simply can't cut it.
