I kinda don't think Xerneas or Yveltal get megas unless Zygarde 100% also gets one (as it probably has get 100 too its BST and thus would be weaker than X&Y again )

I think it'll be a sequel, but we can consider it Gen 7.
I imagine the game to be like Gen 1 & 2 but have a more "connected" story. Kalos was 1. This is 2.
