It really was. A lot of shows looked promising, but I put them on hold because I had no time. Now, I'm hearing some of my favorites like Yuri on Ice, Flip Flappers, and Magical Girl Raising Project ended up flopping hard, and now I'm not looking forward to finishing any of them.
And I lot of shows I was looking forward to kind of went downhill. Euphonium is still gorgeous and fun, but the quality of the writing was shoddy from the start compared to the first season, and quickly plummeted at the halfway point. (A Scream Queens tea.) And while Natsume Yuujinchou was still as great as ever, the show was hella ugly (Studio Shuka
) and that's enough to knock a point or two off of its score this season.
The only consistently good shows this season were Haikyuu, Jojo, and Poco's Udon World.
It has a well developed story and is better than your trash waifu basic animes
