She should just send Legends Never Die to radios for time being, who knows? It could actually be a moderate hit it's giving me Say Something/Let Her Go teas as to how it will perform in the charts and it will build up Ferras' reputation! And then on January she'll announce Legendary Lovers and perform it in the SuperBowl!

I was against it at first, but knowing she'll have the Superbowl, it would be a wasted opportunity not to release something new!

I understand that, but I think that two re-releases in a row (TD and PRISM) just feels weird.

She should have done Superbowl 50 in 2016 and debut her lead single of K4 there. Then, announce her album and tour after that. The media will be talking about her for weeks.

Why does it matter that TD had a rerelease to? Reissues are pretty common, especially for successful eras. PRISM was no TD, but PRISM was still a VERY successful era and should warrant a rerelease as such. People seem to be forgetting this.

Also, why does it matter what SuperBowl she's performing at? It's still a SuperBowl. It's probably best that it's close to the success that Roar and DH had too, to keep momentum. It's time that kills careers these days, if you're not in the spotlight 24/7 people forget about you so quickly.

Why not just debut a lead single for a new album (or reissue if more viable) at this one, though?

I mean, it's been long enough since she had a BIG hit (Dark Horse was big quite a while ago at this point!) that she could essentially get the gears rolling for a pretty big reissue or EP or something. This is a great commercial opportunity.

And yes, I'd love a new song. Make the most of the promo spot. Why not? She could release literal trash and it'd still debut within the Top 10. She NEEDS another big hit right now after two back-to-back underperformances (three if she releases Walking On Air between now and Feb 2015).

Her team makes mistakes but they always pay attention to the future. They are smart enought not to push for some rushed mess that will spend one week in top 10 and make her look desperate. When you're at the absolute top you can never lower the quality. She doesn't need another big hit right now, the era is already a huge success.

Walking on Air and Legendary Lovers should have been the 4th and 5th single, not birthday and TIHWD. Idk what she, the label and her team were thinking Then, she would close the era with a nice ballad. Never mind, we are looking in the future right now. Katy should promote something new at this week of SB, Grammys. A collaboration, a new single or a new lead single would be perfect. I'm sure she has written a lot of songs or she can still get back to studio and write another 2-4 songs for the re release. The other option is to make a collaboration. The third option is to promote the last single off PRISM in that period.
