 n; this is exactly how I felt about Twin Peaks. I gave up a couple episodes into season two; it was just too deliberately weird to the point of feeling forced.
I'm too immersed in Lost to give up on it now. There's still a lot of great stuff going on, it's just that they didn't come up with a very compelling plot for the fifth season. Six has more going on, I think, but it feels less cohesive or something.
