I love Mariah but I am her biggest critic because I know that she is everything but she refuses to let herself be great. I am so annoyed by her looking like a damn beach whale in the You're Mine video, so not dissimilar to her ruining THE AMAZING #Beautiful's music video by acting like a dumb tart. And her wannabe sexiness is just that, wannabe. WHY CAN'T SHE SERVE BUTTERFLY 90'S SEXY she is trying so hard and looking terrible doing it.

the song is still cute
but she is still a mess.

I need her to get with great video directors, a flaw free stylist and a new hairstyle and lose some weight. Mariah NEEDS to rehaul her image and give us gems like Beautiful she totally has another huge TEOM like era waiting for her if she can get her self together.

I agree with you a biT BUT:

The #Beautiful music video was great! The yellow dress scene was great. She needed to erase the scene of her posing on the bike and have an actual plot...skinny dipping with Miguel..lying underneath the stars or something.

She does need a slight image revamping. American Idol live performances image is PERFECT for her career.

She needs to experiment with her sound. Ambient R&B would benefit from her voice..also her career would benefit from the transition.

She acts like that in interviews cuz she's clearly not getting sleep and she's probably drunk. She is an insomniac and her interviews are in the morning and she's always incoherent.

And yeah she does need to experiment with her sound. You're Mine is actually so good (lyrically and melodically) but production wise it is a stale WBT rehash. She needs to go for more organic production like Beautiful is just..there are no words if she could keep giving me songs like that I would see no need for no charts cause I would be elated. I just want her to look her best and give us her all with the music and the visuals.
