I remember the meltdowns when NA was announced as the last leg of the tour. Now that some of the dates got cancelled, it must feel devastating to wait all that time for nothing. I think it's partly Gaga's fault for waiting too long to start the tour and waiting too long to go to NA. She really ****ed up with the NA dates this time. Hopefully next time she becomes more careful in making decisions and take better care of her health and not force herself too much.

I don't think gaga chooses the dates, though. LiveNation carefully chooses them in select cities and has to make sure the date doesn't coincide with another tour or event. I think it was smart to end in NA because it would have hyped her until ARTPOP. Unfortunately that is no longer the case because it was cancelled. Furthermore, NA gets pop acts all of the time while countries like Japan, Thailand, and Australia are always paid dust. You think waiting a year is long? I think Madonna's fan in Australia has been waiting seven years.

There were no poor city choices and her team doesn't choose the dates. The professionals at LiveNation calculate which cities will be best for whatever reason. She hit major places with the first tour and smaller places with this tour. Next tour she can hit a combination and maybe score her highest gross yet. The gross is not always the most important thing, rather the reputation and building a supportive fanbase that will come see her next time and travel if she doesn't hit the same cities.
Anyways, The Fame had the disco stick, The Fame Monster had the orbit dress, and ARTPOP will have the wheelchair. The wheelchair will become iconic and all of Gaga's peers will be using one in 2014. ARTPOP will even come with a limited edition wheelchair decal for you and all of your friends.
