I think we can all agree that if instead of BTINH the choice was EOT it would have had the same success as best thing.....for me when you hear 4 there are 2 song that are totally different from the other 10 songs and those are the 1st and 2nd single!

BTINH was the safest choice. BTINH had that Irreplaceable sound to it, easy to sing along, catchy hook. Just didn't have the magic that Irreplaceable had.

I agree EOT should've been the 2nd single BUT I understand why she choose BTINH it was much more radio friendly (Pop) after the underperformance of RTW.
