I love Lucy, but hate how Mashima treats her character.
Her celestial sprites have the potential to amazingly powerful. She should be standing next to Natsu,Gray and Erza instead of relying on being rescued all the time. The Tartaros scene was amazing and showed what she could do if given the chance, but Mashima loves his damsel tropes and cheescake more.
I see art like this and get pissed at what she could easily be

Didn't mean to write that much, but as you can probably tell I'm used to my faves being slighted for no reason.
It's also funny because she is one of he few that has powers that could be considered magic, and fights like a mage. Most of the others have superpowers and brawl.
