I don't believe that . I mean OC yea it was about their lives but when NJ aired and Atlanta they were fighting . I mean Theresa flipping a table was proof enough . Housewives has always been about the drama first abd lives seconds . Nobody really wants to see them working they want to see the wives intersecting with one another abd going shady

But now its all drama, forced drama. When you think of the great seasons you think of Russels suicide, Camille Grammar;s divorce, the Jersey family feuds, just drama that although in many cases is tragic, its very real and emotional in some ways. Real friendships like Nene and Kim having trouble, it was very organic, not like some random bore moving into town and having a fight with Nene after knowing her for 5 minutes.
As for what you said about Porsha, I wouldn't say she didn't work entirely I think she would have worked perfectly sans Kenya as the wives would only have focussed on introducing her to the circle not the bigger personality, and thanks to the s6 reunion she will always be a big part of housewife history, the day she slayed the dragon.
