In Britain, Songkick said it sold 40 percent of Adele’s tickets. But the company’s control is more limited in North America, where for some shows it handled as few as 8 percent of the available seats. When tickets to the North American shows went on sale Thursday, fans on social media complained about technical problems online and tickets that appeared to sell out in minutes.
Nnnn after all these threads all I can say is that I'm super happy I got tickets before. Today was a rainy ass day too, if I didn't get tickets I probably would have became emo
Honestly, i think Ticketmaster or the venue themselves exclusively sold many tickets to scalpers for a higher price.
Or you know how a lot of tickets are reserved for radio stations/ industry people/ promoters etc. Tickets couldve gone to the scalpers that way too.
It's all about profit

I have been wondering about this too, though. In the Netherlands there are thousands of tickets available on Seatwave (a subsidiary company of Ticketmaster) for sometimes more than 8 times their original face value. It boggles my mind that the provider of the official tickets is allowed to have a scalping website.

Its kinda known that Ticketmaster and artists have a dirty deal with scalpers.
nnnnn no one's willing to sell their tickets in my section at Atlanta Saturday show while an equivalent seat in Friday show is valued at $5000. I'm so tempted guys! like I COULD PAY MY TUITION WITH THAT

I'm still so annoyed the show isn't in the round. If she could play an extra 3,000+ seats with an in the round stage that's an extra 300,000 tickets for the same amount of shows. Smh.
