Why do I have to add songs to my library and make them
available offline before adding to a playlist? I'm ****ing pissed. The playlists are so confusing.

Same issue, I tried merging and it f-ed up all my artwork and song info.

What does replace do - anyone know?

similar... Except mine is straight on my iPod. Like yesterday everything worked fine. I had my old library as well as some of the new songs I had gotten. Then this morning I had to wait 5 minutes to listen to any song bc it said it was updating iTunes library. Once that happened it still shows all the songs I have on wifi, but once I turn wifi off it only lets me play the new ones. It's really odd.

Can you do this for me really quick to see if we're having the same problem?

1. Go to iTunes and press CTRL+B to show the menu bar
2. Then, go to View -> View Options
3. Go to "show columns" and make sure there's a check by iCloud status to create a new column in your library

When you see this column, does it say "waiting" like mine does?

If you turn off iCloud purchases in your Music Settings, it'll go back to the original. You can't have iCloud purchases on (so adding Apple Music offline and etc.) and have your own covers as of right now.

So I think my issue was mostly resolved but a good portion of my library is still waiting. I'll give it another 2-3 days to finish I guess.

I think the iCloud Music thing is pretty useless honestly. I don't get the point of it at all. Everything that I want to hear is already checked (or unchecked) on my computer, and that's what syncs to my phone and iPad when I plug them in anyway. They should just allow you to check for a available downloads like they've been doing.

If you try turning on iCloud using your computer it'll make all the tracks that aren't downloaded directly from iTunes unavailable for you to even sync, and they just get deleted off any other device Even some of my iTunes purchases that I had hidden randomly re entered my library

I've seen alot of people complaining about this on the Apple website and the only fix is to just turn of iCloud music completely and not be able to add new music to your library.

I like the idea of this and I think it's super cool so I'm hoping that with all the complaints, they'll fix this cuz, chh...

It's annoying when album tracks revert back to singles with their own artwork and everything.

I prefer the single cover art over the album cover art.

having one more problem with it....if i have a song saved in My Music and i see a playlist that AM made that i want to save that has the same song on it, when i do save it i have two copies of that song listed under My Music. anyone know a way to fix this? thanks!

Is it possible to have different settings on different computers. I have two laptops and I use one for my iPod Classic (since Apple Music doesn't works on it anyways) and one for my iPhone

Yes. I believe so. And as far as I've seen Apple Music won't edit your existing music on iTunes.
