They want her songs to be played on the radio, it's pretty much the only way for her to get success, becoming successful without radio/only internet like lana would be impossible because industrial is a small niche very different to lana's chamber pop for example.
And because it's Re-done, he'd have to hire other producers and those producers would get royalties, so it's a no no.
