One Direction star Zayn Malik has confessed he's surprised by their success Stateside.
The One Thing boyband have taken the US by storm since venturing across the pond, with the lads on course to become the first UK group ever to hit No.1 on the Billboard chart with their debut LP, Up All Night, in its first week of release.
Malik admitted: "We thought it could be the same few hundred people tweeting us over and over again. Until we got to America, we didn't realise how crazy it was"
