Having hit singles isn't a bad thing at all, and it does help when radio is receptive.
However too many of these girls are reliant on lead singles and radio reception that there career is based on this and they don't develop star power on anything else.
When the wrinkles start to show and you can no longer take your clothes off and the hits stop coming what do you have left?
If people only buy your album based on hit singles ONLY then you're in trouble. I mean just ask Gaga.
And aren't her tickets "reasonably priced"?
